Trainings include, but are not limited to: Hoyer Lift, transfer training, fall prevention, infection control, skin care, diabetes management, managing high blood pressure, nutrition classes with a live demonstration, and more.

This is an exciting opportunity for Personal Care Assistants to further develop their skills in our new, fully-equipped skills lab. Our clinical department supervises any training in the lab, and courses follow a particular structure.

Training in the skills lab is paid at the state minimum wage, outside the PCA wage schedule.
Lunch is provided at some of the courses, but not all of them.
The skills lab offers training in a variety of fields, but the only one that offers certification is our CPR course.
No, if you work as a PCA you will still be required to perform 12 hours of in-service.
